Railroad lines

Dates are when these railways ran in Everett.

• Heavy trans-continental railways
  • GN: Great Northern Railway 1893-1970 (Burlington Northern in 1970, Burlington Northern Santa Fe in 1996, BNSF in 2005).
  • NP: Northern Pacific 1900-1970 (merged into Burlington Northern).
  • MILW: Milwaukee Road 1911-1980 (after 1936 used some GN tracks, after 1970 also used some ex-NP tracks).
• Streetcar: Everett Railway, Light and Power Co. 1893-1923 (in 1907, tracks leased to Puget Sound International Railway & Power Co.
• There were two Interurban lines to Everett.
  • Pacific Northwest Traction Co. 1903-1939 (Seattle Everett Traction Co. in 1908, Everett and Interurban Railway Co. in 1900).
  • Everett and Snohomish Interurban 1903-1921.
